Dr. Gvili has devoted his career to Men’s Health & Wellness and specializes in all things pelvic floor so that men are able to seek help, ask questions and be treated in a comfortable and judge free environment. Dr. Gvili started treating men with pelvic pain and pelvic floor symptoms after he was unable to seek treatment himself. Dr. Gvili’s strength lies in his ability to empathize and understand his patients both from a physiological and psychological standpoint. “Understanding what the patient is going through is that much easier when you have been through it yourself”
Dr. Gvili’s goal is to change the “taboo” behind talking about pelvic pain in men, so that men can feel comfortable to get treatment and therapy no matter what the issue. Currently, the approach to treating Male Pelvic Pain isn’t as effective as it could be. An individualistic and tailored approach must be taken to combat this issue. The only way to do that is to provide a platform for these men so that they can get the care they deserve and educate them on how Pelvic Floor Therapy can help improve their symptoms.

The Pelvic Floor is the layer of muscles that support the bottom of the pelvic area.

The pelvic floor supports the internal organs of the pelvic region.
It also assist with bowel and/or bladder as well as sexual fuction.

The pelvic floor is made up of muscles that form a sling from your coccyx to your pubic bone.

When these muscles become overactive/underactive it can result in pain, sexual dysfunction, bowel insufficiency and urinary/fecal incontinence. Pelvic Floor dysfunction and pain can be caused by a wide variety of reasons and it is important to take an individualistic approach during treatment and planning for your pelvic floor physical therapy.

The medical practitioners in our facility are experts at evaluating and treating the multifaceted condition that is a Pelvic Floor Dysfunction through Pelvic Floor Therapy.

Men's Health & Wellness:

We found that when males were being treated by female physical therapists, there is always a disconnect when explaining symptoms and trigger points because females cannot relate. So we decided to treat MALE PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION as a MALE so that they could relate to our pain and normalize pelvic floor muscles issues and provide the best program for physical therapy. Here are the most common pelvic floor issues that we have successfully treated:

  • Prostatitis/CPPS
  • BPE/BPH
  • Post-Prostatectomy
  • Incontinence/Painful Urination
  • Sexual Dysfunction (Erectile Dysfunction, Premature Ejaculation)
  • Chronic Prostatitis
  • Interstitial Cystitis
  • Orchialgia/Testalgia
  • Peyronie’s Disease
  • Penile Pain
  • Anorectal Pain
  • Pudendal Nerve Entrapment
  • Post Vasectomy Pain
  • Epididymitis
  • Gastrointestinal & Bowel Disorders
  • Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD)

Orthopedic Physical Therapy:

We could list every joint pain and muscular diagnosis but our goal is to make you a more efficient mover without pain and discomfort after your therapy. With that being said, teaching you how to use your body as a vessel for maximum performance will always be our #1 priority.

“Male pelvic health, especially those with pelvic pain, is poorly researched and poorly understood. Getting a medical provider to understand what you are feeling was an obstacle in and of itself. I was being told
IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD, but I knew it wasn’t”
